This Privacy Notice explains how Nuno Soares ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of My Sun Days (the "Service"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data. Nuno Soares is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.
1. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
- Content data: tasks, notes, plans, and other data you create in the app.
- Support data: messages you send us for customer support.
- Usage & device data: log data, device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service.
- Billing data: processed by our reseller Paddle (see Section 4). We do not store your full payment card details.
2. Purposes and legal basis
- Provide and operate the Service (performance of a contract).
- Account creation and authentication (performance of a contract).
- Customer support (performance of a contract, legitimate interests).
- Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection (legitimate interests, legal obligation).
- Product improvement and analytics (legitimate interests).
- Marketing communications, where applicable (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- Compliance with legal obligations (legal obligation).
3. How we share your data
We share personal data with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics, email, and customer-support tooling providers acting on our behalf.
- Merchant of Record (Paddle): Paddle.com Market Limited processes payments, manages subscriptions, calculates and remits sales tax/VAT, issues invoices, and handles refund requests as our reseller.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and compliance advisers where necessary.
- Authorities: where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our rights.
4. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. UK/EEA users also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service (e.g. authentication). Where analytics or marketing cookies are used, we obtain consent where required and you can manage preferences through your browser.
